PARADIGM SYSTEM HUMIDIFIERS
|
|
The PSH series of
humidification systems is a byproduct of the aerospace industry,
designed by engineers using techniques and materials from that
industry. The design is unique in that it has solved all the
shortcomings of conventional humidifiers:
|
 |
It uses a special
surgical foam element, NOT common florist's foam, that doesn't dry from the
surface inward or break down over time. The water continually "wicks"
from the interior to the surface so the evaporative rate remains
constant. |
 |
The foam element holds
almost twice the water per cubic measure, so you need to add
distilled water
every three to four months, instead of weeks.
|
 |
The material is
much more efficient as an evaporative medium. In a long-term test,
it held a humidor at 70% relative humidity, even though the room
humidity was 30%.
|
 |
It resists growth of
odor-causing mold and bacterium. |
 |
Paradigm Systems
guarantees their humidifiers to be free from defects in materials and
manufacture, with a 100% replacement
policy. |
The case design is also
unique, with patent pending. All other humidifiers have moisture vents
on their faces, and the cigars directly beneath them catch the brunt of
the humidity. This causes them to swell and crack, or perhaps unravel. The
vents in the Paradigm units are on the ends, so the moisture is
distributed indirectly and more uniformly throughout your humidor.
The cases reflect quality and understated elegance - they enhance the
interior of even the finest humidors. They are 6063 aluminum extrusions,
not plastic. The aluminum is uniformly coated, both inside and out,
with a high density electro- deposited epoxy film. This coating
renders the aluminum totally inert and fully corrosion- proof.
